Today’s post, and photo editing, from a special guest …
Hi! I am Molly I am the daughter of Daryl. I hope you love his writing! Today I will be writing though, because guess what? It’s June that means…happy pride! I have LGBTQIA+ friends so I thought I would say happy pride on their behalf so I would like to propose something, every June from now on, on June 25th everybody will wear rainbow! Even though this is not actually an official thing I feel like this could be respectful and kind to do! But June also means summer break! I am VERY excited to go into grade 5! I am also very thankful to people who support my dad’s writing so if you are a genuine fan of him comment a pencil emoji, if you support pride comment a rainbow flag emoji and if you are excited for summer comment a sun emoji! I hope after reading this you reread my dad’s stories and GENUINELY enjoy them so please look over what I wrote an enjoy it. Have a great day/night goodbye!

Well done Ms Molly!!
Thank you for speaking out to support a vulnerable group of people. I will find a rainbow button or something with a rainbow for June 25th.
I have also followed your dad’s writing for a while. I really enjoy it and encourage both you and your dad to write more.
Enjoy your summer as grade 5 is a busy year but I am sure you will crush it.

Hey Molly
I wear my pride colours on my FORD dealership Baseball cap all the time! It is in the form of a big square button with the words, “Now more than ever…” because, well, we live in interesting times. But the future looks good if you and your friends are wearing the colours and so the world becomes a better place, one young person at a time!
Brava you Molly, good job Dad and Mum. So lovely to hear your voice here. Perhaps we will again?
